How to Play

Your first session

The official listing now says 11 maps and NEW MAP OFFICE OUT NOW. Skip Office on day one. Learn clicks and keypads on School, then come back for Office Beginner (7615) after Prison.

1. Open the experience. Join Project: Escape Room on Roblox (Place ID 17844293708). Public lobbies hold up to 5 players. Private servers hold 10—use them once you have a regular co-op group.
2. Read the lobby mode sign. The sign defaults to Challenge. Click it to Beginner before you enter any elevator if you want the simpler puzzle sheet. Office is the one map where the two sheets are completely different (7615 vs 6482).
3. Pick School first. Walk into the elevator labeled School. You will learn clicking objects, reading posters, typing a keypad (8263 / 4862), and using a key on a door—the same habits every later map uses.
4. Watch the interact prompt. On PC, click or press the proximity key (often E). On mobile, tap small objects carefully—keys, vent screws, and keypad digits miss easily. Open your inventory after you pick something up; many doors need the item equipped, not just collected.
5. Escape, take the badge, return to lobby. A successful run shows “You Escaped!” then teleports you back to the mode select. You earn a Beginner or Challenge badge per map. The Welcome badge is awarded on first join (~78.1% of players on Rolimon’s as of August 29, 2026).

Lobby, modes, and group size

• Beginner first on every new map. Challenge adds denser clues, extra steps, or tighter timers—Temple Challenge (~5.5%) is still the rarest escape badge.
• Office is the exception: Beginner 7615 / C28 / 531624 / Red-Yellow-Purple-Blue versus Challenge 6482 / D36 / 314256 / Blue-Orange-Red-Green. Wrong sheet = keypad that “does nothing.”
• Public servers cap at 5 players. Private servers (10 Robux/month public private, 100 Robux VIP) cap at 10. The experience page has no built-in voice chat.
• Hint game passes cost 25 Robux per map and work in both modes. They are optional—this wiki and the YouTube embeds replace paid hints.
• Join the Serif Games group for sneak peeks. There is no announced map after Office as of August 29, 2026; the game last updated on Office launch day (August 10).

First three maps

This is a teaching order, not a speedrun. Full ranking with both Rolimon columns lives on the Difficulty hub.

PC, mobile, and console

Voice chat and co-op

The Roblox experience page does not list built-in voice. Coordinate outside the game, then split roles so one player owns keypad digits. Dedicated hubs: Voice chat, Solo, and Mobile.

• Use Discord push-to-talk, or Roblox voice chat on age-verified accounts in a private server.
• Call out digits in order (“six four eight two”) rather than “the code from the wiki.” Office has two sheets.
• Bank wants a laser spotter plus a mover. Lab wants a chemistry reader plus a tube filler. Office reception is faster with one player on the color grid.
• Private servers stop randoms from leaving mid-timer. See the Private Servers hub for the 10 vs 100 Robux split.

Common first-session mistakes

• Typing Office Challenge 6482 on a Beginner lobby (or 7615 on Challenge). Switch the sign first.
• Looking for Roblox promo codes. Coupon sites list other games. In-game “codes” are puzzle answers (School 8263, Lab 3952, Temple 2741).
• Jumping Temple or Lab first. Temple Challenge (~5.5%) and Pyramid Challenge (~6.5%) stay rare—farm School (~13.1%) after a clean Beginner clear.
• Collecting a key but not equipping it. Open inventory, select the item, then click the matching door.
• Ignoring the YouTube embed below. Dragonsubmann’s School run is four minutes and shows every click you need on day one.
