Beginner vs Challenge
Every map offers both modes, but they are not always the same puzzle with a shorter timer. Office is the clearest example: Beginner and Challenge change the cubicle PIN, vending code, safe grid, elevator digits, and reception colors. If a keypad rejects a number from this wiki, you are almost certainly in the other mode.
Switch modes in the lobby first
The lobby mode sign defaults to Challenge. Click the prompt to Beginner before you step into a map elevator. There is no mid-run mode swap. Public lobbies hold up to 5 players; private servers hold up to 10.

Office — the map where codes fully split
Office launched August 10, 2026. Community guides (including Dragonsubmann on YouTube and the August 14 Beginner write-up) confirm two complete answer sets. Use the row that matches the mode sign you clicked.

Other maps
School, Prison, Bank, Pyramid, Temple, Spaceship, Pirate Ship, Zoo, Santa’s Workshop, and Lab share the same core answers in both modes. Challenge usually adds extra observation steps (Pyramid magnifying-glass checks), denser clue layouts, or less forgiving timing—not a second keypad sheet. Start those maps on Beginner, then farm Challenge with the ranked guide.
Mode habits that save runs
- Call the mode out loud in co-op before anyone types—Office 6482 will never open a Beginner drawer.
- Temple Challenge (~5.5%) is still the rarest live badge; Office Challenge (~13.4%) has cooled from first-week guide traffic.
- Keep Puzzle Codes open on a second screen. The Office row now lists both modes.
- Office Hints (25 Robux) is live and works in both modes; this page stays free.
- After a clean Office Beginner clear (7615 → C28 → 531624 → Red/Yellow/Purple/Blue), switch the lobby sign and run Challenge.
