Play with Friends

The official listing is explicit: play solo or in a group of up to five, and private servers support groups of up to ten. Nothing in the game forces co-op — no door needs two players holding it — so a squad is a speed and attention advantage, not a requirement. This hub covers how to get everyone into the same room and what each person should be doing once the door closes.

Player limits and how to get in the same server

Place ID 17844293708. Rolimon servers average roughly 7–8 players in the lobby area, with public runs capped at 5.

  • Public lobby: up to 5 players per escape run. Strangers can fill the remaining slots, which is why a full squad of five should enter together.
  • Private server: up to 10 players. A public private server costs 10 Robux, VIP costs 100 Robux, and only the owner controls who joins.
  • Easiest join method: have one person start the experience, then friends use the "Join" option on that player's Roblox profile while they are still in the lobby, before the elevator loads a map.
  • Everyone must pick the same mode. The lobby sign is shared per run, so agree on Beginner or Challenge before anyone steps into the elevator.
  • There is no in-experience voice chat. Use Discord push-to-talk or age-verified Roblox voice — the Voice chat hub covers both setups.

Role splits that actually save time

Two roles beat five people crowding the same drawer. Assign before the run, not mid-puzzle.

  • The reader: one person owns clue boards, posters, and graphs, and calls numbers out loud. Nobody else types.
  • The typist: one person stands at the keypad and enters exactly what the reader says, digit by digit. This alone removes most Challenge timer losses.
  • The searchers: everyone else sweeps cabinets, vents, lockers, and outdoor areas, and announces items rather than pocketing them silently.
  • Rotate maps, not roles mid-run. Swapping the typist halfway is how squads lose a Temple Challenge attempt at the throne.
  • Screenshot shared boards. Pirate Ship card pairs and Bank laser patterns are far easier to re-check from a screenshot than from memory.

Which maps reward a squad most

Co-op habits worth enforcing

  1. Agree the mode on the lobby sign. The sign starts on Challenge. One person clicks it to Beginner while the group is still gathering, and says so out loud.
  2. Name items when you pick them up. "I have the break room key" prevents three people from re-searching the same drawer for the next two minutes.
  3. Keep one voice on the keypad. Two people calling different digits into the same keypad is the fastest way to burn a Challenge timer that cannot be paused.
  4. Warm up on School or Zoo. School Challenge sits around 13.1% and Prison around 10.9%, which makes them the sane places for a new squad to practise before Temple or Pyramid.

Prison is the clearest map for dividing a group — watch once, decide who reads the corridor clues and who handles the yard, then run it as a squad.
