Map Difficulty & Play Order

New players bounce off Temple and Lab because they skip the teaching maps. This hub is the missing ranked path: learn clicks on School, then Zoo and Prison, then Office Beginner (7615)—not Challenge 6482. MXBLOX + Rolimon win rates below are from September 24, 2026 (86.9M visits); they measure badge rarity, not how "fun" a map feels.

Recommended play order

This is a teaching order, not a speedrun. Clear each map on Beginner before flipping the lobby sign. Office is the only map whose keypad sheet changes completely between modes—open the Modes hub before you type.

# Map Why here
1 School Teaches clicking, counting, and one keypad (8263 / 4862). Best first escape.
2 Zoo Short color-and-math loop (gift total 51.50). Builds confidence without lasers.
3 Prison Corridor code 7863 plus showers and yard—first real observation chain.
4 Office Newest 5-star map. Do Beginner only (7615 / C28 / 531624). Challenge digits fail here.
5 Pirate Ship Card pairs and cannons 1–6. Compact co-op practice after Office Beginner.
6 Spaceship Table sums 3953 and breaker list. Step up in counting, still one room flow.
7 Santa's Workshop Seasonal crafting chain; green-book safe 1245. Medium length, low combat.
8 Bank Lasers, vault 743, sewer valves. First map that punishes a missing spotter.
9 Lab Chemistry tubes and control panel (Water 4 / Food 2 / O2 27% / Temp 75). Hard.
10 Pyramid Coffins, hourglasses, compass. Challenge adds magnifying-glass checks (~6.5%).
11 Temple Rarest Challenge badge (~5.5%). Braziers + throne 2741—save this for last.

Beginner vs Challenge win rates

Beginner rates look low on every map because most players farm Challenge. Compare Challenge % to rank true difficulty. Office Challenge (~13.4%) has cooled from first-week guides—the cubicle chain is still 5-star. MXBLOX + Rolimon September 9, 2026 data.

Map Beginner Challenge Read this as
School 1.6% 13.1% Warm-up Challenge after a clean Beginner clear
Zoo 1.7% 10.5% Gift math 51.50—easy with a caller
Prison 3.9% 10.9% Best co-op drill before Bank lasers
Office 2.6% 13.4% Guide traffic cooling; still use the matching lobby sheet
Pirate Ship 1.5% 8.6% Cards + cannons scale poorly solo
Spaceship 1.5% 7.4% Breaker miscounts wipe the pod run
Santa's Workshop 1.2% 8.7% Seasonal; do not skip the green book
Bank 1.8% 8.7% Lasers want a spotter in a 10-player private server
Lab 1.1% 7.2% Call the control panel out loud in co-op
Pyramid 0.9% 6.5% Second-rarest Challenge after Temple
Temple 1.7% 5.5% Hardest Challenge badge—private server + text guide

How to use this ranking

  • Never type Office Challenge 6482 / D36 / 314256 on a Beginner lobby (7615 / C28 / 531624). The keypad "doing nothing" is almost always the wrong mode sign.
  • Temple Challenge (~5.5%) and Pyramid Challenge (~6.5%) stay rare—farm School (~13.1%) or Prison (~10.9%) first.
  • Private servers hold 10 players; public lobbies cap at 5. Voice is external—the experience page has no built-in voice chat. New players should open How to Play first; solo / phone / Discord notes live on those hubs.
  • Puzzle "codes" on this wiki are keypad answers, not Roblox promo strings. Skip coupon sites.
  • Guide dropdown stays at 8 items. This page lives on the Guides Hub with How to Play, Modes, Items, Controls, and Hints.

Dragonsubmann's School Beginner walkthrough (F9DC97Wj5f0, September 2026) is the cleanest demo of how Project: Escape Room clicks, keypads, and inventory work. Watch it once, then follow the play order above. Pair Office runs with the Modes hub so you do not mix 7615 and 6482.
